Fotini’s House is located in the beautiful village of Petrokefali in the Prefecture of Heraklion in southern Crete, 10 km away from Matala. It was built in 1924 and has been a property of our family ever since.
The fully renovated house we built with love and passion is ideal to accommodate families, as well as couples, who want to enjoy their stay in a hospitable and serene environment, overlooking Phaestos and the imposing mountain of Psiloritis.

Fotini’s House of 100m2 consists of two levels.
On the ground level there is a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, an internal staircase leading to the first level and two patios.
On the first level there is a master bedroom, a bathroom and a terrace.
The house has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, range hood, coffee pot, juice extractor, sandwich maker, kitchenware and utensils, dining table and chairs. In the living room there is a flat-screen TV, sofa and a coffee table. The ground floor is laid with tiles. Both bathrooms are equipped with shower cabins, a towel set, a hairdryer and toilet paper.
On the top level you may enjoy your sleep on a Cocomat mattress in the comfy double bed. In the bedroom there is a wardrobe, a single bed that can accommodate one more person, bedside tables with sockets and light, a flat-screen TV and wooden floors. There is also an exquisite terrace overlooking the palace of Phaestos. On the terrace, there is also a trellis and a drying rack.
Relax in our two patios, the one at the front under the shade of a pergola and a lovely lemon tree, and the one at the back of the house in a romantic, cool atmosphere. The house is equipped with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, a fire extinguisher, and a keycard for easy access.
We also offer a private parking lot to our guests.
We pay great attention to hygiene, thus we provide cleaning services every 3 to 4 days upon consultation with our guests, free of charge.
